HISTORY: Robert married Emma, daughter of William Woodhouse, of Woodhouse
Manor, an estate contiguous to Wentworth Manor, thus aquiring that estate. Yhe
family was afterwards designated as Wentworth of Wentworth-Woodhouse. He lived
in the reign of Henry III and Edward I.
