NOTES: Moved to Quaboag at age 18 with father. Built a homestead at eastern
extremity of township of Quaboag. Earned living as farmer. Was active in
community affairs, and was one of the signatories of the Petition of
Incorporation on 10 Oct 1673. Was killed during initial phase of Indian
assault, not being able to reach sanctuary of garrisoned house where wife and
children were hiding. Circumstances of death are not known, but fact of his
death is recorded in the Massachusetts Archives.
