Notes for life of Thomas HARLEY:
Served in Revolutionary War enlisting twice. In early part of War Thomas resided on Shelter Island, Suffolk, New York and enlisted at Southold, Suffolk County, New York for a term of 1 year in the NY Regiment commanded by Colonel Henry B. Livingston, under Captain Daniel Griffings. When the British had taken possession of Long Island, Mary & Thomas moved to Seabrook, Connecticut, where he re-enlisted and served in the Connecticut campaigns in the Continental Army, where no additional information is given.
