In the past the form to request US Military Pensions
was NATF Form 80. Now the numbers and subjects of the NATF Forms are as follows:
- Form 81 (Passenger Arrival Lists)
Form 82 (Copies of Federal Census Records -- requiring your knowledge of the publication, roll, and
page number, as we do not conduct searches of Census
Records for you)
- Form 83 (Eastern Cherokee Applications)
- Form 84 (Land Entry Records -- for Federal lands
only)
Form 85 (Military pension records prior to the Spanish-American War, including the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, the Mexican War, Civil War, and the
Spanish-American War, and Bounty land warrant
application files)
Form 86 (Military service records prior to World War I, including the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, the Mexican War, Civil War, and the Spanish-American War
- Form 180 (Military Service Records, World War I and later -- the form can also be downloaded directly from the following internet location:
http://www.archives.gov/veterans/
IMPORTANT: Please remember to include:
- the FORM NUMBER
- the QUANTITY needed
- YOUR POSTAL MAILING ADDRESS
